About the session: — from the viral TikTok series with over 2 million views. These ADHD symptoms will surprise you as much as the out-of-the-box recommendations to fix them.
About our Guest Speaker: Aron Croft appeared to have it all when he got into Harvard. But that was the beginning of his demise. He struggled nonstop for 15 years until he was broke, divorced, and earning minimum wage, failing out of his first 7 jobs and businesses. But after getting a Master’s degree in Coaching Psychology and a diagnosis of Inattentive ADHD, his life changed. He built a successful Fortune 500 career consulting to companies such as Marriott, Deloitte, Johnson & Johnson, McDonald’s, KPMG, and United Healthcare. He also got remarried, and most importantly, discovered how to get sh*t done with a neurodivergent brain. Now he’s on a mission to raise awareness about Inattentive ADHD, how it goes under the radar, and how to rebuild your life post-diagnosis.

About the session: For those with ADHD who suffer from toxic shame or rejection sensitivity, painful, self-blaming thoughts are a constant companion. Shame and fear lead to negative assumptions that we convince ourselves are true. When these stories we tell ourselves create avoidance behavior, they’re likely causing you more harm than ADHD itself. Learn how to recognize when toxic shame has hijacked your brain so you can fight back with strategies to help you regain rationality.
About our Guest Speaker: Bonnie Mincu’s been an ADHD Coach since 2001, when she left corporate management consulting to do executive coaching, training and organization development on her own. Without the fast pace and constant deadlines she’d been accustomed to, she found she was getting nothing done. She discovered, to her surprise, that she was ADD. Intrigued by this unexpected diagnosis, she then got training in coaching ADHD adults, and began Thrive with ADD. Over the last 21 years, Bonnie’s used her background in training and process redesign to develop many resources for ADHD adults. She’s an annual presenter at virtual ADHD conferences, and taught her workshop at New York University. Her membership program, Productivity Pathfinder, helps ADHD adults achieve self-mastery through training, coaching and support.

About the session: What if instead of thinking of ADHD as a deficit and a disorder, we saw it for what it really is, a way of being in the world which with the right support can be a wonderful way of being? Drs Hallowell and Ratey introduced a new term for ADHD in their latest book ADHD 2.0. Its VAST, or Variable Attention Stimulus Trait. The old term with its emphasis on pathology, on a deficit disorder is inaccurate and stigmatizing. The new term is far more accurate, allowing for positive attributes, not just negative ones. Dr Hallowell explains the rich and complex world of VAST and how a simple change in framing can set off an entire shift in thinking and treatment.
About our Guest Speaker: Dr. Hallowell, M.D. is a board-certified child and adult psychiatrist and world authority on ADHD. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Tulane Medical School, and was a Harvard Medical School faculty member for 21 years. He is the Founder of The Hallowell ADHD Centers in Boston MetroWest, New York City, San Francisco, Palo Alto and Seattle.
He has spent the past four decades helping thousands of adults and children live happy and productive lives through his strength-based approach to neurodiversity, and has ADHD and dyslexia himself. Dr Hallowell is a New York Times bestselling author and has written 20 books on multiple psychological topics. The groundbreaking Distraction series, which began with Driven to Distraction, co-authored with Dr John Ratey in 1994, sparked a revolution in understanding of ADHD.
Dr. Hallowell is the host of his new podcast called Dr. Hallowells Wonderful World of different where he celebrates the world of different in its many and varied forms. In celebrating the many differences that adorn humanity, he hopes to break down barriers of stigma and misunderstanding and show how all of us benefit from the differences between us. Dr Hallowell has been featured on 20/20, 60 Minutes, Oprah, PBS, CNN, The Today Show, Dateline, Good Morning America, The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek, Time Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe and many more. He is a regular columnist for ADDitude Magazine.
Dr. Hallowell lives in the Boston area with his wife Sue and they have three children, Lucy, Jack and Tucker.

The free replay period for this session has ended, and the recording is no longer available. You can purchase permanent access to this replay and all the program resources in the Time to Thrive! 2022 Rewind HERE
About the session: Linda says, “DONE is my favorite four-letter word, but for ADHD folks like us, it can be hard to achieve.” Why? Perfectionism sets in at the last minute (and sometimes before we even start!). We work harder and harder to nail down every detail, cross every ’T’ and dot every “I” but predictably, overwhelm sets in followed immediately by paralysis and shut down.
On the surface, perfectionism is a logical strategy for ADHD brains: we have “screwed up” so many times that we are hyper vigilant about potential errors. But aiming for perfection is a set up for failure. In this session we’ll discuss ways to recognize the creeping influence of perfectionism and how to escape its tight grip on ADHD productivity.
About our Guest Speaker: Linda Roggli is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), award-winning author, and founder of the A-D-Diva Network for ADHD women 40-and-better. She is an internationally recognized expert in midlife and senior ADHD. She co-founded the Annual ADHD Women’s and ADHD Parents’ Palooza, online conversations with 30+ ADHD experts. She also created the popular ADHD Get Organized program which features live organizing sessions. Linda’s book, Confessions of an ADDiva- Midlife in the non-Linear Lane, won first prize for women’s issues in the prestigious Next Generation Indy Book Awards. She chairs the webinar committee for ADDA. She lives with her slightly OCD husband, one OCD cat, four adorable ADHD Shelties, and nine cackling hens.
